Ilustration Conducive To Books Don't Tempt Me (Georgian #4)
Sometimes Temptation...A hardened mercenary as adept in bed as in battle, Simon Quinn can have any woman he wants, but he prefers those who know the rules of the game. That way it's easier to leave them behind...
Can't Be Avoided
But Lysette Rousseau is one female he can't figure out. Beautiful, sensual, seductive, she should be the perfect match for Simon, yet something about her ties him in knots. Bold and manipulative one time, sweetly innocent the next, she is an enigma bound to bring trouble... impossible to resist.

Maybe more like 3.5.This was the best of the series, IMHO. I figured out who the villain was, but the revelation was still enjoyable. And the denouement was exciting!I also enjoyed Lynettes and Lysetted romances progressing in parallel. Both Simon and Edward seemed worthy of the twins and all four of them were interesting in their own rights.Obviously, all the good people had their HEAs - yay!I don't really know what to make of this novel. The plot was so intriguing and the characters so individual, and yet it felt so rushed and so shallow that it never came together.I wish this novel had been written by someone like Sidney Sheldon, who wouldn't have been afraid to make it 500 or 600 pages long and just really flesh it out. Someone liked SHeldon would have 'books' within the novel. A book for Marguerite and Saint Martin, a book for Lysette and a book for Simon and Lynette, with a

I love Sylvia Day. Had a great time reading this story. Happy to know that Simon got his HEA after all.Striking blue eyes, tall, handsome, and great lover !!!! What else could you ask for? Oh Simon I love you !!!!
Great seriesI really enjoyed this book. Interesting characters. Held my interest. Didn't know who was the bad guy until the end. Recommend this series.
Don't Tempt Me⭐⭐⭐ (All aboard the Express train!) Read full review at: https://grimmsnaughtblog.home.blog/Story:Wow, this could have been really good. The plot was interesting, the characters had potential and I do love steamy historical romance. But telling this story with the same speed as the Shinkansen train really was a bad idea. It felt watered down and had no time to stop and make an impression on me. Plus that it included a new romance plot in the form of Lysette and Lynettes mothers
This was the best of the series. Wish the books were somehow brought together in the end.
