I dont understand the continued appeal of Charles Manson or his family, but I do understand the appeal of this book. It leads through the events as they are placed back together by the prosecution during the trial of Manson and his accomplices, and does so in an interesting way. Helter Skelter reads fast and kept my attention until the defendants are sentenced. At that point, I felt I knew everything I needed to know about Manson he was a delusional racist who preyed on weak and needy souls and4.5 Stars! I don't know what to say about this one except that I really loved it. I'm a huge True Crime fan, and I can't believe I waited so long to read one of the most famous books in this genre. This book was written by the prosecuting attorney Vincent Bugliosi. It was extremely well written, packed full of information, and really well researched. Much of it I didn't even know about until now! Bugliosi really knows his stuff and I plan to read some of his other books. The only downside I
