Tied had me from the opening lines in the prologue until the final sentence. This book is exquisitely, hauntingly beautiful. It's message is one of triumph over tragedy, true love overcoming self-loathing, hope overcoming fear and most of all, the ability to shape our own destinies despite circumstances beyond our control at times.
