Caitlynn and Caleb race through time looking for the legendary sword, but they have company the Blacktide Coven are after the same thing, as we follow them on their search we get an interesting look at history, bring on the next book.Or so I thought, as I said in my review of the first book it's over a year since I read this book and I never intended to write a review but I'm offering my advice for what it's worth. This is the last good book on this series in my opinion the rest are the sameGotta say, this was definitely better than #1. Still not fantastic, but better.Dialogue and overall text still has an immature voice and it still needs significant editing as the number of typos and grammatical mistakes really disrupts the flow.As do the continuity issues, e.g. the wolf pup was injured enough to be abandoned by her pack yet kept up with wild horses a short time later with no further mention of that limp she had for a grand total of one scene? It was good book, but it is ridiculous how many mistakes are in it. The writer had repetitively said starting instead of staring. She had also said things like: Caleb and Caleb walked down the narrow path, or whatever. It's suppose to be Caitlin and Caleb walked down the narrow path. That wasn't an exact sentence from the book but, she said two of the same name like that on more then one occasion. There was many more mistakes that I haven't mentioned and probably a lot that I didn't see, I'm not
good continuation & fun characters. i enjoyed the fast paced story & it ends with a hell of a cliffhanger.
Short story, short review. Overall, this was an decent read. A few more thing stood out to me as being different about the vampires in this story than what we are traditionally used reading about in this genre. Vampires get weaker as they get older, instead of stronger. The Vamps in this world can commit suicide with a little yellow pill, etc. Like I said in my review of Turned, I still believe that these stories are two short. On the one hand the 'insta-love' bothered me quite a bit more in this book than it did in the last (mainly because there was 2 cases of it going on in it, again with Caitlin and Caleb, but also with Caitlin's younger brother, Sam, and Samantha) but I felt that the plot of this book was much better developed (and more interesting) than the first.Plot-wise I loved learning more about Caitlin and Sam's background and
The only reason i continue to read this series is that the characters have good dimension and i really want to see where they end up. Who the hell is her editor? So many grammatical mistakes and repetitive remarks.
